SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of cost estimates/budgets for all projects
- Generating and monitoring project cost summaries vs. estimates
- Updates all construction and equipment installation project management policies and procedures.
- Identifies and determines which consulting firms will be retained for engineering projects. Negotiates consultants' fee schedules.
- Oversee and coordinates project consultants, review drawings, meet deadlines for Building Permit submissions and construction tenders.
- Responsible for overall budget control of multiple construction projects.
- Review contract drawings and specifications and ensures that project documents contain the most current standards.
- Problem solves any on-site issues as required ensuring budgets are considered.
- P. Engineering degree or equivalent is preferred
- 1+ years of estimating or combined construction related engineering exposure required
- Base Building retail construction and design is mandatory
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, to all level of management, vendors and outside
organizations.
- Strong computer skills especially E-mail, Word and Excel spreadsheets and knowledge of SAP

Job Summary
Journeymen Welders are expected to assist the foreman with planning and executing the days work to ensure the safety of the crew and the public while focusing on productivity.
Work is predominantly outdoors and in all weather conditions. The individual must be able to drive safely, work extended hours, travel/transfer to new headquarter upon request at anytime, and wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment.
This position is a DOT covered classification and is subject to random drug screening.
Responsibilities

Perform welding in construction and maintenance of pipeline facilities using various hand tools such as but not limited to tape measures, protractors, levels, framing squares, straight edges, and power cleaning tools.
Must lead and provide a productive team environment

Must work safely at all times as defined by PG&E's safety standards and procedures
Must be able to read and comply with all required company standards and work procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
